The radio has been a lifeline for many over the course of the lockdown. In fact, one in four people in the UK have been listening to Radio 2 during this time, and the figures are only rising. As such, the station’s presenters might start to feel like members of the family.

Inspired by old family photos, we worked with six real families and tried to highlight their characteristic traits and quirks as they pose next to the BBC presenters. Even though it looks like a fairly straightforward shoot, Covid-19 meant all the families were shot separately from the presenters.
